Hennessy's VSOP originated from a request by the future King Georges IV of England, back in 1817, for a Very Superior Old Pale brandy. Taking up the regal challenge, Hennessy blended approximately 60 different eaux-de-vie (brandies) from the four most notorious growing regions of cognac, and Hennessy VSOP was born.
Described as "the symbol of roundness and sophistication", Hennessy's VSOP expertly incorporates spice and honey flavours in a drink fit for a King.
