|
This is a wine that consistently rates well with Campbell Mattinson of The Wine Front giving the 08 93 point and James Halliday giving it 92.
“notes of blackcurrant capsicum, Provence herbs and tree bark with hints of pencil leadand cloves. Medium-full bodied, very crisp and concentrated” (2009 Vintage)" Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, The Wine Advocate
Brilliant deep crimson with crimson hue.
Lovely Cabernet lifted nose of dark berries and currants, leaf, cake spice of cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. These aromas carry through as flavours onto the rich, long and complex palate leading to a long mouthfilling finish with firm but fine tannins.
Food Match Ragout of hare, braised lamb shanks, osso bucco, aged cheddar
