This is a full-bodied, luscious Cabernet Sauvignon with layers of fruit, deeper, more thought provoking flavour and complexity than you may be used to at anywhere near this price point.
Wonderful, warming aromatics scents of cedary oak and vanilla coffee beans which round off flavours of ripe dark plums and a hints of dark cocoa chocolate preceding a lingering smooth finish.
You really wish for well ripened Cabernet Sauvignon to be approachable from the get go and show little of the meanness and vegetative nature of cold years, so this is a little ripper!
Superb, delightful complex Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a truly lip smacking wine with loads of sublime chocolate, vanilla.& cassis combining together wonderfully. 'Nigella' the chief chef for English stoves could not recommend a better wine to wind you up into a lather of culinary frenzy. I love Cabernet with attitude and always long for a wine like this!
