|
The traditional varieties of Bordeaux - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot are planted in Gimblett Gravels vineyard, and are expertly blended based on the character of each vintage. Craggy Range produce surprisingly opulent and structured Merlot which forms the base of their Bordeaux blends. The resulting wines are deeply coloured, highly aromatic and possess signature dusty tannins.
Opaque core with garnet rim. Blackberry and briar notes combined with cedar and tobacco form a classic aromatic profile from these Bordeaux varieties. Layers of fine dusty tannin are supported by opulent dark fruits. The incredibly long finish continuously builds in intensity.
