An exceptionally well-balanced, medium-bodied wine with rich, spicy fruit characters. The palate is soft and appealing with a lingering finish.
Wine Colour Deep red with vibrant purple tinges.
Wine Bouquet Enticing fruit aromas of ripe plum, cassis and a hint of liquorice allsorts along with subtle chocolate and spice from the oak maturation.
Wine Palate A balanced medium bodied wine with a lively palate of juicy red berries, plum, cassis, chocolate and spice. The wine has a soft, supple feel with silky smooth tannins from oak maturation. This is the quintessential Australian blend. The oh-so enjoyable combination of plum fruits and spicy pepper make it the perfect wine to take to a BBQ or your favourite pizza parlour.
Cellaring Notes Although made for immediate enjoyment this wine may be matured for a further 2 - 3 years in a good cellar.
