| |
|
|
Colour: Deep red-black.
Aroma: Tarry, balsamic, earthy: lovely and rich concentrated red fruit.
Palate: A well rounded body with medium-fine tannins and a savoury and complex structure. A great wine to be enjoyed with food.
Vinification: Seven days in sweeping-arm Potter fermenter, followed by clarification, malolactic fermentation and then a year in used French and American oak hogsheads.
Food matches: Paella, chorizo, crusty bread – think rustic Spanish fare – or with a good beef steak.
