Heredad Ugarte Rioja Crianza 2007 |
| |
A beautiful cherry red colour and fragrant bouquet is followed by a flavoursome palate of dark fruits and spice with a smooth tannin structure.
Rioja is a region in northern Spain famous for producing rich robust red wines. The predominant variety is Tempranillo; this Crianza is 92% with 8% Garnacha and has been aged in French oak for 15 months. It has an intense bouquet of spice box, pepper, incense and black cherry. It’s elegant on the palate with savoury complexity and it will drink well for many years. 2007 is considered an outstanding year and limited quantities remain.
