Muscat displays distinct raisiny flavours. It is an ideal wine to round off a fine meal, particularly with soft cheeses, dried fruits or chocolate confections.
The wine is a reddish amber of medium depth. It has a perfumed sweet raisined bouquet. The palate has luscious syrupy raisin flavours — a hallmark of the style. These Muscat fruit flavours linger long on the palate and lead to a spirity finish.
