Cracker Jack Far Paddock Sauvignon Blanc 2009 |

|
|
The Crackerjack range of Australian wines reflects a contemporary winemaking style, full of fruit, with concentrated flavours - in tune with the modern consumer palate.
Crackerjack is a proud loyal Australian. The varietals in the range represent various well-known wine regions.
The brand is bold, strong, unique, and most of all "a bloody good drop".
Aromatic yeast selection coupled with cool fermentation is essential to preserve the fruit characters in this wine. Parcels of fruit arefermented separately and the best set aside for blending so that this wine can be released and consumed young, when drinking at its best.
Colour: Very pale straw.
Aroma: Tropical notes and good herbaceous characteristics typical of the variety.
Palate: Fresh and fruity with a crisp acid finish. Tropical flavours including melon and lycee are nicely complemented by green herbaceous characters such as capsicum and green pea.
Cellaring: Best enjoyed young. Serve chilled.
Food matches: Grilled salmon, Vietnamese cold rolls or a warm chicken Caesar salad.
