|
|
Region 95% Riverina, 5% Yarra Valley.

Palate Upfront is a zesty palate of lime and lemon which rounds slightly to passionfruit and gooseberry notes on the lengthy finish.
Vintage Conditions 2011 was a very difficult vintage with some of the largest rainfalls recorded in a growing season. However, the summer ripening period was cooler because of this rainfall. This led to long ripening periods and great flavour and acid balance, rarely seen in the Riverina region.
Winemaking Select Semillon vineyards from the Riverina are chosen for their fresh citrus notes and combined with Sauvignon Blanc that shows grapefruit and fresh cut grass. Grapes were pressed quickly and cold settled to produce very clean juice for a cool flavour-retaining ferment in stainless steel. Yeasts used were T306 (sem) and VIN7 (sauvy) which aid in varietal expression.
Cellaring Drink now and for the next 3 years.
Suggested Cuisine Spicy San Choy Bau. Scallops with ginger, chilli and lime.
