Mount Pleasant Lovedale Semillon 2005 |
| |
|
|
"Vanilla, lemon/lime, hay and hessian. It’s sherbetty, full and flavoursome with good acidity, although a rounder style of Hunter semillon. Has length and light phenolics contributing additional weight and texture. On day one it looked terrific, and while rumours of its death may have been exaggerated, it didn’t look terribly well the next. Enjoy it now for its size and glory. 93 Points." - Gary Walsh.
Colour: Very pale straw with luminescent green hues.
Aroma: Fresh limes and grapefruit, lemon blossom, and hints of pineapple.
Palate: Lively, fresh citrus palate with fine acidity and a long lingering finish.
