Peter Lehmann Barossa Grenache 2006 |
| |
|
|
Bright medium red on the rim with a darker centre. A palate packed with fresh juicy raspberries, loads of lifted maraschino cherry notes on the nose, typical of fresh youthful Grenache.
The third consecutive great vintage in the Barossa following on from 2004 and 2005 is fulfilling the winemakers’ expectations for producing red wines of exceptional quality.
Selected from premium Grenache vineyards in the Barossa. Fermented in static stainless steel tanks & given seven days skin contact. No oak maturation - the aim being to produce a fresh, flavoursome wine.
Serve with Shepherd's pie, veal cutlets, or creamy mushroom and prosciutto pasta.
