Plan B Chardonnay 2007 |

Is there a small changing of the guard now with the contemporary feeling being that Chardonnay is now on the way back from disgrace and this is a very satisfying, enjoyable, impressive, succulent wine. Wise words? Just plain common sense if you ask me! Chardonnay has that intrinsic quality that makes the wine world go around. Think flavour & bags of it. This impressive vintage from Franklin River IN Western Australia is all fresh summer stone fruits, ripe melon and figs with exceptional balance and acid minerality. This wine stacks up there with the best of them to provide a gorgeous wine full of flavour and pallet length at a cost that is next to ridiculous. If you have been looking again at Chardonnay for some satisfaction - Look no further.
14.5% Alc/Vol.
A pleasant surprise during staff tasting, the Plan B smacked of stone fruits (particularly peach) and a hint of sherbert. A quality budget Chardonnay. Wonder what their Plan A is like? Tasters: CN, BK.
