Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rose 2003 |

|
The Grand Vintage Rosé 2003, the 37th from the Maison, is an impassioned wine of a deliberate intensity. The initial notes of deep red fruit – strawberries, black cherries, blackberries – appear suddenly, irresistibly, testimony to the concentrated warmth of maturity. A maturity that is rich, expressive, first with the warm spiciness of nutmeg and leather, then becoming fresher with notes of pink grapefruit, blood orange and rose. The denseness of the wine is underscored by a lively, ardent structure, resulting in a delightfully powerful presence in the mouth. Notes of black currant and coffee lead to a vigorous, slightly aniseed and deliciously astringent finish. From an extraordinary year and an incomparable fruit, Moët & Chandon has created an ambitious, confident champagne. A wine that happily asserts its elegant structure, its spectacular solidity, and its sunny personality.
