Derived from Estate grown and selected McLaren Vale vineyards, the Redstone range of wines are perfect for those after a well balanced, easy drinking wine, guaranteed to please AND keep the budget in check.
Inky purple-red in colour. When first opened there are gentle oak-derived aromas of marshmallow and coffee – followed by cassis and rosemary, fresh, tart blackberry and ripe red currant.
The palate is complex but not demanding, reflecting all the above in a medium bodied, balanced style. The tannins are soft and very fine, producing a silky texture. The fruit characters are complemented by gentle malt, chocolate and a rustic earthiness.
