Biggish and very juicy coming in at 14.9% with a brooding deep ominus colour. Black and red currant with hints of black olive on the nose with cassis and marzipan filling the nostrils, complimented with French oak characters of cedar and biscuity vanilla.
The Palate: A rich, fruitful, full mouth feel of black currant, blackberries and cassis is complimented by the sweetness of the French oak influence and the finish is long and spicy and youthfully austere. This wine is still going plenty of places and is really a splendid find for those in the know but may have not come across it yet! Drink well more often!
