Tasting note direct from the source here! A Bright Ruby Nose: A perfumed bouquet of sweet cherries, rich bramble berry and fresh raspberries. Palate: Medium bodied with fresh berry fruit characters, soft clean tannins and finishing with lingering fruit flavours. Ready for immediate drinking but will continue to mature in the bottle for another 2 – 3 years. Bottled under Stelvin caps on the 30th July 2007. 15.5% Alc/vol 12.79 tonnes of Grenache were harvested on the 22nd March 2006 from Block 10 of our Amery vineyard and after open fermentation and basket pressing the wine spent a year in American oak barrels.
