Palate: medium weight, elegant, juicy red berry fruits and spices with fine tannins and a long finish. Shiraz was harvested March to optimise spice characters with Grenache & Mourvedre harvested April , based on berry flavour and ripeness. The 3 components were vinified separately with an ethos of gentle extraction to ensure elegance, fruit softness and balance with each parcel. Components were matured for 12 months in seasoned French & American oak. Blending trials delivered this 66% Grenache, 17% Shiraz, 17% Mourvedre blend.
