This 2008 Shiraz Cabernet blend spent 15 months on predominantly American Oak before bottling. The result is a smooth easy drinking red with vibrant red berry aromas that complement the spicy notes which are apparent on the palate. The minimal use of French oak gives the wine complexity and an elegant toastiness that integrates well with the juicy forest fruits characters.
