Take everything you love about Cabernet, then add Tempranillo to remove those green stalky characteristics and enhance the rich, dark chocolate flavours.
This entices you as soon as it hits the glass. An amazing deep rich purple colour with an enticing nose of minted cherry and raspberry nuances coupled with subtle earthiness.
The palate is rich, generous and well structured. Stunning dark chocolate, cherry and spice, well completed by a lingering berry finish. French Oak was chosen to extract and marry into the delicate varietal characters, and this is evident even at this early stage.
This will cellar well for 10 to 15 years, or drink it right now it's that good.Try some tonight with roast beef or lamb cutlets with a rich demi-glace... just perfect!
