Matured in premium French oak, a beautiful medium bodied shiraz with a wonderfully elegant finish. Upon the palate flavours of raspberries, rich black cherries and hints of woody spices. Perfect with rich cheddars, smoked cheeses or a antipasto platter.
Reviews
2014 Vintage: 95 Points - James Halliday, The Wine Companion "Hand-picked, cold soak, whole bunches, wild yeast, foot-stomped, post-ferment maceration and lees contact, matured for 10 months in new and used French oak, two trophies Best Shiraz and Best Wine of Show Geelong Wine Show '15, trophy Best Shiraz, bronze medal Melbourne Wine Awards '15. Elegance, rather than depth or power, is the strength of the wine; it has a genuine flavour of the northern Rhone Valley, spicy and long, I'll go with the '15 Geelong Wine Show multiple trophies."
From the Winery
Estate grown. Hand picked, foot stomped, wild yeast fermentation and matured in premium French oak. A magnificent medium bodied Shiraz of velvety consistency, solid length and elegant finish. Playful notes of raspberry, black cherry and Satsuma Plum engage tenderly with savoury pepper and wood spices.
