Coming from an elite portion of a single vineyard renowned for producing quality reserve level Shiraz, this wine shows a charismatic dark ruby colour and radiates vibrant berry and sultana aromas. The wine is made in a concentrated, yet elegant, medium bodied style with a velvety texture and fine lingering tannins. Gorgeous, bleeding plums greet the pallet, with ubiquitous berry flavours seeing out a hushed oak finish. While approachable in its youth the The Principal Shiraz can be cellared over the medium to long term.
