Goulburn Valley fruit on a good vintage is just about unbeatable! Big statement? I agree.
This wine however does go along way to enhance the theory that excellent conditions do produce wines of distinction that will not only last but also get better and better with time for cellaring. Here you have a quality aromatic, deep bulls blood red wine that grabs your interest straight away. The nose is rich dark fruit and black cherry with nice lifted spice and oak. The palate is where all bets are off though and you simply loose your self and immerse your thoughts to describe the layers of fruit.
Engrossing is a limited way of describing the joy this wine brings you from the first sip. Your mouth hums with joy as you allow the wine to flow gently along the tongue and rest a while before inexorably flowing across the line heading south. This is one of those wines to celebrate and show your friends. Let them know where you got it, or don't, that is unto you.
But! Strictly limited quantities here and with this deal it will go quickly - in the way of all good things!
