Champagne Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé is a subtle, racy wine produced from a blend of 70% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and 30% Chardonnay which gives it finesse. Its delightful pink hue is obtained from the addition of a small proportion of red wine from the same Pinot Noir grapes.
WINEMAKER COMMENTS
APPEARANCE: The colour is a brilliant, shimmering pink. The bubbles are fine and the mousse persistent.
BOUQUET: The intense nose imparts aromas of red fruit with freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant.
PALATE: A velvety wine of fine balance and body with subtle, fresh, fruit flavours.
FOOD SUGGESTIONS: A wine for both early and late evening. A delicious accompaniment to fruit desserts such as fruit salads and tarts.
