Just released and riding on very strongly from the exacting vintage of 209 there are no surprises here with quality and varietal strength. Shows pure Riesling characters of lime, mandarin and orange blossom with gentle spice. Rich in Ironstone, the soil produces a flinty mineral character, superior structure, grapefruit citrus flavour with a long dry finish. I would recommend this as a pretty fair indication that Riesling from this region actually increases some very enjoyable characterisitics and is a steal any day of the week at this price. Enjoy!
