The Greenstone Point 2012 Sauvignon Blanc displays rich gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas with an edge of complexity. The palate is lively and refreshing with a long, lingering finish. A wine to be enjoyed over the next two to three years.
The Greenstone Point 2012 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown on our Rowley Crescent, Sandy Creek and Stoney Range vineyards situated at either end of Rapaura road, in the heart of Marlborough.
The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night and transported to the winery for immediate processing at the end of April 2012. The fruit was gently pressed, settled and racked to fermentation and cool fermented for 28 days. Following two months of yeast lees contact the wine was blended, lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
