Well, how do you best describe Arneis? I was humbly concentrating along, tasting a range from Geoff Hardy the other week and came along this perfect ray of sunshine. I turned around and ordered all the stock he had as you only get to be fortunate enough every so often and it's delightful to be ahead of the pack. Vibrant light gold colour awaits from this cooler climate Adelaide hills wine producing awe inspiring Arneis which you may only have encountered previously through the King Valley, Vic. Perfume and aromatic intensity is what hits you first with a punchy weighty pear fruit and some elegant spice combining to make a sensational food wine. It really is a thought provoking wine that will be reminiscent of some Sancerre and other sensational Old wine lovelies!. Just try it and tell me it does not enthrall you!
