"Neatly balanced and assembled, with stone fruit, citrus and melon augmented by gentle oak; has good length." - James Halliday.
Colour :: Brilliant straw yellow.
Nose :: Attractive fresh and fruity aromas of stone fruits with subtle persistent toasty oak notes that add a touch of sophistication.
Palate :: An appealing array of fresh and tantalizing fruit flavours with hints of toasty oak maturation notes highlight a generous palate structure. This wine has a subtle richness with enticing fruit and light oak flavours that are persistent and fresh, a wine for all occasions.
Vintage :: 2006 Coonawarra vintage will be remembered as being very early and for the very low yields. Slightly above average temperatures prevailed during summer and extended into the ripening. The ideal conditions produced grapes that were disease free and in excellent condition. The wines display attractive varietal flavours and palate structures that have subtle fruit richness and a hint of zest.
