Yum! 13 Years of cellaring perfection offers you a very limited opportunity to rush some of this into your cellar!
Opulent and refined the mostly Shiraz wine with a touch of spicy apricots blend seamlessly to excite the whole of your mouth and delivers real depth and silky elegance.

You will enjoy a wine that punches well above it's weight, the oak integration shows balance and medium tannins really bind the components together to over deliver a wine that will settle the soul, smooth the edges and provide lip smacking smoothness and sultry sessionability.

Buy well, don't miss out and enjoy at your leisure !

Cheers!

From the Winery

This unique wine comprises a classic Shiraz grown at the northern end of Coonawarra, blended with a select parcel of Viognier giving the wine an exciting and generous mouth feel.

The wine exhibits concentrated fruit flavours together with traditional spicy, peppery and rich ripe red berries. The Shiraz has been enhanced through maturation in new French oak hogsheads for 20 months. The wine is comprised of 10% Viognier and shows complex, well-balanced firm tannins and good structure

Awards and Accolades

2002 Vintage:

“Pretty aromas of confected red fruits intermingled with white pepper, licorice and cinnamon spices. The medium-bodied palate delivers plenty of spicy flavour with a sturdy oak influence.” – 4 stars – Winestate Magazine Nov/Dec2004

“A gorgeous crimson violet ripe plum colour. Alluringly elegant. Persistent and potent upfront fruit characters. Think rich ripe blackberries and succulent plums from the Shiraz and spicy apricot from the Viognier. Supported by smooth silky well rounded oak tannins making the wine approachable. Liquorice and spice abound on the palate. Medium to ample bodied with a long finish and refined complexity. Well integrated oak and very good blending here. Perfect with a lamb curry. Drinking now and should improve. A smooth and very easy drinking red wine.” – Paul Ippolito- Independent Sydney Wine Writer – July 2005
