The base Coonawarra Shiraz fruit was matured in oak in order to give this Sparkling Shiraz more complexity. Youthful, mauve purple mousse with excellent hold. Fine bead showing very good persistence. The base wine is deep crimson with aromas of plum, spice and leather emerging. Creamy palate structure with good ripe, plummy fruit flavours over a spicy background. Clean finish. Aftertaste of plum and spice.
