G'day WBW folk, After dealing with Wine Box Warehouse for a long time now, can I say there is little you can do to improve your current service. Orders are responded to quickly, receipts are prompt and accurate and deliver quick and very much at the right price. It's a pretty good scorecard. Just one thing if I may. The original reason for signing up with WBW was it was the only outlet to sell Fire block Old Vine Shiraz from the Clare Valley. I made several repeat orders before it dropped off the radar and your stock list. I know the cranky old bugger who owns the company and he may give you a bit of a hard time. Hello, your delivery service is now back to highly efficient.Given where we live, Central Coast NSW:There was a period when delivery was absurdly prompt (2 days), and then very slow for perhaps a year or two (7+ days), and now (last 2 years?) back to very good (3-4 days). Also pointing out it was not an issue for me, it isn’t like wine delivery should be urgent. Just advising you of the situation as it has happened. Firstly, thank you for resolving the issue I had with not receiving your regular email offers - somehow or other your emails stopped coming, but finally they have resumed - it's probably not often that people seek out promotional emails, but your offers are always worthy of consideration, and often challenge my self-control! I (and many others) have enjoyed all of the many wines purchased over the past few years - most of them are labels (and in some cases styles) unknown and/or untried, but which sounded ok, and in fact proved to be rather good, or even excellent. I now keep a 'running list' of my personal favourites, and only wish that these beauties were available all the time! Ordering online is quick and easy, and delivery to Canberra is always fast and reliable. Hi Tim, service has always been very good. Email frequency is about right (I was with 'get wines direct' for a couple of months. The wine I received was nothing like their tasting notes and was undrinkable so it went back. I would get 2 - 3 emails a day from them which drove me nuts - so I cancelled them). Hidden winemaker another online firm were just a little dodgy ( there were issues re them paying their suppliers apparently )so ceased dealing with them. I had asked for it to be left on front steps and using initiative, the delivery person likely thought this was too exposed.
