Its robe is coppery. Its nose gives ripe prune aromas and dry fruits. Its mouth is very smooth with some rancio notes.

About the Producer
Armagnac Castarede is the oldest trading house in the region, established in 1832 by ancestors of the current owners.
The armagnac is produced and and at Chateau de Maniban, situated in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region just to the south of Mauleon - d’Armagnac.
The estate has approx. 16 hectares planted with Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc and Colombard. The distillation is carried out in-house in the traditional way using the company’s own alambic still.
