Light to medium garnet in colour, the hue is even throughout. Immediate aromas include tart cherry, subtle red currant and light notes of cured meats. On closer inspection delicate hints of anise and cacao become apparent.
Flavours on the palate offer a continuation of the nose, striking the balance elegantly between sweet fruit and savoury spice. Texturally there's a blend of firm and softer components expected from a young Burgundy. Tannins are youthful and match the wine's bright acidity, coming to a mouth watering conclusion.
