Ketu Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Ketu Bay Sauv Blanc 09.gif
I was very excited to be involved in the wine making of this vintage and in line with some of the best vintages on record, I reckon this is a monty to have you buying loads all year long! The wonderful Ketu Bay again provided good luck with a huge load of fresh and tasty scallops from this world famous region north of Marlborough.
This year I have been lucky enough to blend with the wine maker my personal preference for this aromatic and intensely flavour filled vintage to make you all go wild, for what I think is the best styled Dry , tropical white wine around!

We have another massive deal to get hold of some excellent stocks of this brand new vintage because you are going to be amazed and fall in love with the sensational quality and price of this wine. A brilliant, clear, pale straw green colour is enticing from the get go. Typical Marlborough Sauvignon aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit and ripe gooseberry with a hint of stealy flint as backbone wrapped up with an intriguing mouth lingering & lovable complexity.

The palate is exactly what you would expect, with fresh aromatics, full of racy vigour. Flavours of passionfruit, gooseberry, melon and grapefruit are balanced by lime acidity and good fruit sweetness that rounds it out nicely. The palate is well structured and tapers to a very sessionable long, lingering finish. For autumn days, quelling the cacophony of noisy children or simply sharing a conversation with your partner, this is a classic Marlborough statement that will not fail to bring a smile to your lips.

This is without doubt one of the best deals I have ever put together and trust you make good, while the going is good and stock up!

An absolute favourite at the staff tasting session with high marks all round and a chorus of How much can we get because it is going to sell like hot cakes! Noted hints of grass, limey/lemon, passionfruit and gooseberry on the nose. The palate carried these flavours also, with lemon zest and a hint of sweetness present, which should settle nicely by mid January. An excellent Sauvignon Blanc and a step up from the '09. Tasters: TE, MM, BK
