A brilliant, clear to pale straw-green colour is enticing from the get go. Typical Marlborough Sauvignon aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit and ripe gooseberry with a hint of steely flint as backbone, wrapped up with a lovably intriguing, mouth lingering complexity. The palate is prime Marlborough, with fresh aromatics full of racy vigor.
Flavours of passionfruit, gooseberry, melon and grapefruit are balanced by lime acidity and good fruit sweetness that round it out nicely. The palate is well structured and tapers to a very sessionable long, lingering finish. This is a classic Marlborough statement that will not fail to bring a smile to your lips.
