Ra Nui Sav Blanc.gif

A classic example of a New Zealand Marlborough region Sauvignon Blanc. Clear/pale straw in colour the nose exhibits intense tropical fruit flavours with hints of lime, passionfruit and kiwifruit. On the palate, gooseberry, passionfruit, kiwifruit, pineapple and pear flavours dominate. These intense fruit characters are balanced with soft acidity and a long richly textured finish.

Michael Cooper: 2015
Mouthfilling and well rounded, with very good body, balance ripeness and depth.…….It is already drinking well

Bob Campbell: 2015
Bright fresh Sauvignon Blanc with pure pink grapefruit, guava, passionfruit and ripe apple flavours. Gently aromatic wine with an ethereal texture. A delicate and appealing style

Illawarra Mercury: 2014
From the Wairau Valley in New Zealand’s famous Marlborough wine district. Distributed in Australia by Hunter Valley producer Tyrrell’s, it’s a stylish savvy, dry and restrained with a small portion matured in French oak, citrus and tropical fruit flavours, herbal characters and zippy acidity.

Jim McMahon: 2014
This wine is typical of what the region does best. It offers a youthful green/pale straw colour. The palate offers mouth-watering passionfruit with grassy herbaceous overtones which cut right through. The crisp acidity on the finish is dry and intense.

Jane Thompson (Taste Magazine): 2014
This fruit-driven white pairs with creamy white chocolate like passionfruit and pavlova.

Winestate: 2014
Fresh, citrusy and limey, with mouth-filling body, tight acidity and a dry, lingering finish.
