This is a deep, dark red in the glass that gives of aromas of intense, lifted ripe berry fruits with well integrated oak. There are hints of vanilla and chocolate on the nose too.

Slightly more concentrated than the 2007 yet has lost none of its elegance. A sense of its balance and elegance is noticeable even on the nose with soft red berry friut and a little spice coming through. The palate is dense and round, with the same elegant red berry characters flowing through. The tannins are fine and the wine is perfectly balanced.

This is a rich, opulent and classic wine.

Alentejo is a south-central region of Portugal. The climate of the region is typically very dry for a large part of the year with summer temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees and mild winters follow.

Aragonês / Trincadeira / Cabernet Sauvignon / Alicante Bouschet make up this portuguese red.
