Hanging Rock Bendigo Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 |
| |
|
|
Colour: Deep plum with a red hue.
The Bendigo region has established a reputation as the source of some of Victoria’s best red wines. Warm to hot days along with cold nights and a dry climate make it very suitable for most red grape varieties.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is certainly evidence of that. For over 10 years now the grapes for our Bendigo Cabernet have come from the wonderful Turners Crossing vineyard. Using organic and biodynamic practices, the vineyard manager and owner Paul Jenkins is able to keep his vineyard healthy and in balance.
2008 was one of the best vintages for Bendigo Cabernet Sauvignon in many years. The vintage produced an average sized crop, with excellent fruit flavours and tannins.
