Named after the local slang for lunch time cricket matches between winemakers in the Coonawarra region, WACA Cabernet Sauvignon has been blended with the traditions of the game and the region in mind. The result is a rich fruity wine, tempered with a dark berry and oak nose. The palate is the equivalent of a fourth day pitch - dry enough to offer turn, but rewarding anyone with their eye in. Best drunk in the pavillion.
Made entirely from from estate fruit in Coonawarra.
The vines are over 30 years old. Winemaking takes place on site at the Parker Coonawarra winery. The philosophy is to create wines with intense fruit character and great balance that are seductive and enjoyable when young.
