Despite the outstanding quality of the 2004 vintage, Xanadu’s new owners wanted all of the best Cabernet to contribute to this wine, with no reserve (Lagan) wine to be produced. The result is an outstanding wine of remarkable value. Crunchy black and red cherry fruit is enveloped in huge seek-and-destroy tannins. It is none-the-less finely structured and very long. Let the cellar do its thing for a decade. 94 out of 100 points. (Excellent wine!) The Top 500 Wines 2005-2006 by Tyson Stelzer, Wine Press
