The wine was matured in new French oak hogsheads for 18 months and exhibits a deep colour and sweet fruit characters, concentrated berries with plum and spice flavours. The wine has a generous complex palate with a supple mouth feel and an elegant finish. The wine is excellent drinking now and has benefitted from careful cellaring over an extended period.Fruit is sourced from the Killian Vineyard, well established, narrow-row planted block on the famous terra rossa strip.
