De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate Grown Pinot Noir 2017
De Bortoli follow up a run of exceptional vintages with another smashing Pinot release. This vintage is a delightfully perfumed drop with great weight to the body.
Medium ruby and eye-catching in the glass. The nose is delicately perfumed, red fruit and a touch of spice. Medium weight on the palate with lots of red fruit, cherry, spice and herbs. Gentle tannins make for an elegant finish.
Awards and Accolades
2016 Vintage: 90 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "From vineyards in Diamond Creek and Tarrawarra, each hand-picked, fermented and matured in French oak separately until blending (with the aid of 4% shiraz). A pretty, fragrant pinot with a juicy mid-palate and a touch of savoury forest floor on the finish."
