These tremendous Spring, soon to come Summer afternoons deserve a richer, longer finishing fuller bodied Pinot Noir of this cool climate caliber. A big, earthy nose reminiscent of the old Burgundy farm barnyard, backed by a delicious, fuller-bodied briary blackberry and earthy pithy cherry & savoury flavours lingering on the palate with a nice warm grip. Backed up with a bit of spice this wine really has some tremendous length. A lingering, perfectly balanced acidity makes this one an absolute winner for me. Stoke the fire, rub your hands, roast some duck and watch out for the delivery as a bottle disappears leaving only a very satisfied smile! Ahh, sweet winter contentment, kids having a sleep over at someone else's house and you have the wife to your self for a night. Life's good.
