Henri Bourgeois Petit Bourgeois Rose de Pinot Noir 2011
"In our endless quest for excellence we watch, carefully and patiently, as we look to nature as our guide, taking inspiration from our senses and energy from our passion, with equal respect for knowledge and wine growing methods that draw from the flourishing ecosystem that our ancestors bequeathed to us." - Arnaud, Jean-Christophe, Lionel Bourgeois.
The vineyard is a patchwork of 120 small parcels of land, on all types of soils and scattered around Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume.
The grapes for this Rose come from chalky-clay soils.
Made from Pinot Noir, the fully ripened grapes come from the slopes along the Loire river. The terroir give this wine a real bouquet of delicate red berries.
