  Ketu Bay Pinot Noir 2013

An awesome example of Marlborough NZ Pinot Noir. This wine simply over delivers from nose to last lip smacking sip! A truly wonderful toasty nose, showing lifted dark red fruits, with hints of dark red cherry ripe, strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, tamarillo and some yummy, intoxicating cinnamon spice. This nose is warming and lingers whilst provoking images of Burgundy at an insane price.

A bright and clear & engaging, this wine is a deep dark ruby red with exciting garnet hues that promise all good things are coming your way and come they do.

The entry is soft, plush and generous, with delicious fresh summer ripened cherry & dark savoury raspberry building to lie plump, lush & satisfyingly on the mid-pallet. The tannins are a key part of the structure; although nice and soft they add some wonderfully crunchy structure to the wine along with hints of slight vanillin, making this an ideal all year round drinking style and absolutely perfect for food.

Perfect for Mexican tapas, pasta, chicken and when the kids are away and you unexpectedly get a moment to yourselves!
