  Tucks Ridge Pinot Noir 2011

Tucks Ridge Pinot Noir Label.gif

Probably one of the most challenging vintages from Adelaide to The Hunter in NSW 2011 had adverse climatic conditions from left and right! Still there are a few pockets of producers that managed to complete their vintage and produce some very nice wine indeed.
This Pinot Noir is expressive of the vintage and the clones from Mornington Peninsula. Savoury and robust in the glass the wine will be a wonderful backdrop to duck and pastas as the summer months come along with increasing vengeance. This wine can also be slightly chilled to add value to an afternoons weeding or book reading when you want some nice savoury undertones without a huge dump of Alcohol and rich Xmas fruit!

The king of wines and the varietal that has found its palace on the Mornington Peninsula. A surely there is no better expression of this varietal than the fruit grown and harvested on the out Buckle Vineyard at the home of Tuck's Ridge. They don't make much of it and it is well worth the sacrifice to get a bottle or two for some future indulgence or special event.

Tuck's Ridge is a small boutique winery located about 1.5 hrs from the Melbourne CBD. It is one of the oldest wineries in the region and benefits from this extended regional history to produce cool climate wines of stunning intensity, quality and longevity.
