70% sangiovese; 15% ciliegiolo; 15% montepulciano.

This vintage is especially good , carrying little more fruit weight it is probably the perfect Puccini marriage for old world and new world styles. The winemaking is perfect and seamlessly evolves on the palate with perfect pitch and harmonises with food from around the world.

Intense fruity nose, marked by a sweet spiciness with notes of black fruit. Smooth and round in taste, full bodied and pleasant to drink. Can go with all the meal, preferably with meat dishes and medium ripe cheese.

A wine produced from vineyards at 300 m asl and of varying expositions, where the soil is characterized by fractured sandstone, tufaceous clays and calcareous marl. Vinification in stainless steel vats for 15 to 20 days with maceration at 27 to 30°C. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Ages for ten months 50% in stainless steel and 50% in barrique and tonneaux of second and third passage. Bottle refinement 6 months minimum.
