It's a symphony of altruistic wine making that brings you a lovely blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah. Ominous opaque dark blue red colour with a lovely dark red purple hue on the rim. Immediately - there are engaging aromas of summer ripened blackberries, black cherries and hints of licorice all followed by some slightly old-world barnyard earth and spice.
This wine is a classic old-world style medium-bodied wine with enjoyable rich, ripe flavours of cherry and blackberries, dark chocolate and a hint of cassis overlaid by some earthy black pepper characters with a spicy finish. Fine grained tannins are engaging and keep you coming back for another sip.
A classic style providing medium to long layers of dark chocolate, berry and spice with complimentary oak. Cellar 3-4 years. Alc 13.5%
