A strong clear vibrant cherry red in colour is decidedly attractive and purpose built for an afternoon of springtime chatter!
The bouquet is as you would expect aromatic raspberries and cherry notes with blackcurrant undertones, making it intoxicating from the first sniff.
It gets better though, with the first sip providing wonderful fresh berry characters, complimented by savoury notes. This is an awesome combination of quality background fruit bombs from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The wine has intensity, some length and nice level of internal sweetness but finishing dry with zippy acidity.
Lighter in alcohol and with some real refreshing characters this is a perfect wine before lunch or Sunday afternoon with a good book and game of scrabble!
