Lively, zippy rose that's great for everyday drinking. Kicking off with aromas of lifted citrus, and strawberry perfume, the palate is strawberry with rose petal notes. Tangy berry flavours intertwine with cherries, with a mouthful of fruit balanced by good acidity.
From the Winery
Good winter rains and a mild spring lead provided good growing conditions leading into the harvest. After rain in January, a warm dry vintage followed allowing for the fruit to reach ripeness with a wealth of flavour.
Shiraz and Cabernet fruit was selected that displayed lifted berry flavours in the vineyard that are reflected in this Rose wine. Harvest takes place in the cool of the night to retain the fresh fruit flavours, the fruit is crushed and pressed immediately to give the pale colour, then fermentation occurs at 12-14°C for two to three weeks.
